At 8,300 ft elevation CHULA VISTA CAMPGROUND is a FREE campground hidden in a dense pine forest with plenty of shade and cool temperatures. It has picnic tables, fire pits, and pit toilets. >>>Please bring some firewood<<<< THERE’S NO WATER SO BRING YOUR OWN SUPPLY. CHULA VISTA CAMPGROUND is located 193 yards, or a quick 3 minute walk from the Mt Pinos Nordic Base parking lot. Many folks use yard carts or hand trucks to haul their camping equipment and coolers to the their campsites. !!
