Questions, corrections, or partnerships?

Bakersfield Events is run from Bakersfield, and the inbox is read by a person, not a form. Email bevents1869@gmail.com and expect a reply within two working days. Put the event link in the message when it is about a listing; it saves a round trip.

Something on a listing is wrong

Times, prices and venues are gathered from each organizer's public page and checked nightly, so the fastest fix is usually at the source: the listing's Source link. If the organizer's page is right and ours is not, send the event link and what should change and we will correct it by hand.

You run the event or the venue

You can ask for a listing to be corrected, removed, or for your calendar to be left out entirely; see the terms for how takedowns work. If you would like your venue's page to carry a proper description, a photo you own, parking notes or a link, send them along and they will be added with credit.

You know about an event or a calendar we are missing

Use Suggest an Event for a one-off, or Suggest a Source for a calendar, newsletter or page that posts events regularly, so future events from it show up on their own.

Advertising and partnerships

Display ads on the site are served by Google. For a featured listing, a sponsored weekly pick, or a venue partnership, email with "partnership" in the subject line. Anything paid is labelled as such on the page.
