🌵 Help grow endangered Bakersfield cactus! 🌵 Join Wind Wolves Preserve staff for a hands-on restoration day in the backcountry as we plant native Bakersfield cactus pads! Found exclusively in Kern County, this rare species needs our help—and this is your chance to lend a hand in growing the populations right here at the preserve. Reservations are required. Space is limited. This program is funded by the Outdoor Equity Grants Program, created through AB 209 and administered by California State Parks, Office of Grants and Local Services. DETAILS Check in at the Administrative Center at 8:45 am Recommended for ages 10 and up All participants will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival.
