Kern County Child Support Services is proud to announce the 17th Annual Ready-Set Back 2 School Health & Wellness Fair at the Kern County Museum on Thursday, August 6th, 2026. Since 2009, our department’s team members and our partners fundraise to help families and children in Kern County go back to school with all their essentials. Our events have helped over 40,000 families receive a free backpack with school supplies. Families are invited to join us at our free, family-friendly community event! Kids in Kindergarten-12th grade receive a free backpack, school supplies & more!
